In this role, you will work at the intersection of science, regulation and innovation. You will support international innovation teams in bringing safe, compliant and sustainable products to market. From conducting hands-on toxicological safety assessments to defining regulatory strategies and preparing registration dossiers, your expertise will help turn promising ideas into successful innovations.

What you’ll do
Hands-on toxicological safety assessments of substances, ingredients and innovative concepts.
Regulatory guidance for innovation projects and new product development.
Clear scientific recommendations and regulatory go/no-go decisions.
Coordination of regulatory data generation and product registration dossiers.
Support product registrations and market access activities worldwide.
Cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, Marketing and external partners.
Monitoring regulatory developments and assessing business impact.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for an experienced toxicology professional who can independently assess substances and translate scientific evidence into sound regulatory decisions. You are comfortable working with incomplete or complex data and know how to balance innovation opportunities with responsibility for product safety and compliance.
You’ll also need:
Master's degree in Toxicology or a related Life Sciences discipline.
Practical experience in applied toxicology and substance assessment.
Several years of relevant experience gained in an industry or consultancy setting.
Experience with regulatory assessments, product authorization or market approval processes.
Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to translate complex scientific findings into practical business recommendations.
Strategic thinking combined with a commitment to safety and compliance.
Fluent English communication skills.
Availability to work from our Amersfoort office at least two days per week.
