Position Overview

Provides leadership and coordination for ambulatory quality, safety, and preparedness initiatives across the Physician Practice Division. In partnership with operational and clinical leaders, designs, implements, and continuously improves programs that promote safe, reliable, and high-quality patient care, including nurse triage quality assurance, patient safety event management, emergency preparedness, downtime readiness, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. Utilizing High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles and evidence-based practice, this role proactively identifies risks, strengthens systems, and drives sustainable improvements in quality, safety, and operational outcomes.

Serves as a clinical resource, educator, and trusted advisor to leaders and staff, advancing a culture of safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence through quality improvement, professional development, and innovative communication strategies. Acts as a catalyst for organizational improvement by bringing together clinical, operational, and support teams to enhance preparedness, share best practices, promote staff engagement, and improve patient outcomes across a large, multi-specialty Physician Practice network.
