Job Description
Role Purpose
Lead the development and delivery of analytics products that accelerate SME digital acquisition, activation, engagement, sales, servicing, and relationship deepening.
The role covers digital sales channels, digital onboarding and usage, UOB SME App and BizSmart, and emerging digital propositions. It will convert customer, transaction, and digital-behavioral data into actionable insights, experiments, and decision solutions that deliver measurable incremental value.
This is an analytics product and business-partnering role, not primarily a reporting role. The successful candidate will own initiatives from problem discovery through implementation, adoption, monitoring, and value realization, while applying approved AI and automation tools to improve current ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate SME Digital Banking priorities into an analytics roadmap aligned with acquisition, activation, digital adoption, cross-sell, retention, customer experience, and cost efficiency.
- Develop KPI frameworks and management insights for digital sales channel, digital onboarding, product usage, customer engagement, and ecosystem propositions.
- Analyze end-to-end customer journeys using funnel, cohort, path, and behavioral analytics to identify friction, abandonment, unmet needs, and growth opportunities.
- Build actionable customer segments, triggers, and next-best-actions using firmographics, lifecycle stages, cash-flow patterns, transactions, product holdings, and digital behavior.
- Lead analytics for digital sales channels and other digital propositions across enablement, conversion, usage, revenue, margin, retention, and assisted-to-digital migration.
- Develop the measurement framework for UOB BizSmart, covering customer discovery, solution adoption, engagement, retention, and contribution to deeper banking relationships.
- Design controlled experiments across journeys, messages, offers, features, and channel treatments; prioritize incremental lift and net margin over gross response or raw propensity.
- Convert recurring decisions into scalable analytics products following the lifecycle: Discovery → Experiment → Harden → Scale → Monitor → Refresh.
- Use approved AI and automation tools to reduce manual reporting, accelerate data preparation and insight generation, improve management commentary, and enhance decision support, with appropriate validation and human oversight.
- Partner with Digital, Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Data teams to turn business problems into measurable interventions.
- Ensure compliance with data quality, privacy, security, access, documentation, model, and responsible AI requirements.
- Consolidate, automate, or retire reports that do not support a clear business decision or action.
Job Requirements
- Relevant experience in digital, customer, product, marketing, or banking analytics, with demonstrated business impact.
- Strong understanding of digital journeys, conversion funnels, customer segmentation, experimentation, and performance measurement.
- Experience working with customer, transaction, product-usage, and digital-behavioral data.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical tool such as Python, SAS, or R; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into implementable analytics products and executive-level recommendations.
- Strong commercial judgment, structured problem-solving, stakeholder influence, and communication skills.
- Ability to use approved AI and automation tools pragmatically to improve analytics productivity, quality, and scalability.
- Sound understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and analytical controls.
