About the role:
Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, including higher education institutions, language centers, and institutes, by identifying business opportunities and building strategic client relationships. This role is responsible for promoting and overseeing educational projects, developing and aligning commercial and academic solutions that support each institution's learning objectives while contributing to the sustainable growth of the business.
Role Responsibilities:
Commercial Management
- Manage and grow the assigned client portfolio within the PLS segment by maintaining a customer-focused approach and leveraging strong product and service knowledge to drive client retention and growth.
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through consultative selling, business development strategies, and effective use of market intelligence.
- Develop and execute account growth plans by applying business insights to identify customer needs, market trends, and expansion opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records to support forecasting, decision-making, and execution while demonstrating a strong ability to drive results.
- Lead commercial negotiations and institutional adoption processes by utilizing strong persuasion, negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate value effectively.
- Achieve assigned sales and adoption targets through a results-oriented mindset, leveraging business development expertise and a proven ability to drive results.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Academic, and Customer Service teams through effective collaboration and communication to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Educational Project Management
- Diagnose the academic needs of institutions through active listening, stakeholder engagement, and a customer-focused approach.
- Design value propositions aligned with each client's learning objectives by combining consultative selling techniques, product and service knowledge, and business insights.
- Coordinate the implementation of educational programs and digital platforms while ensuring stakeholder alignment through effective communication and project management best practices.
- Monitor customer experience, platform adoption, and client satisfaction by maintaining a customer-focused mindset and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing institutions by leveraging market intelligence, business insights, and strong business development capabilities.
Institutional Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with academic and administrative decision-makers through a combination of persuasion, trust-building, and a customer-focused approach.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with directors, coordinators, faculty members, and institution owners through proactive relationship management and effective communication.
- Represent the company at academic and commercial events, showcasing strong product and service knowledge, strengthening brand presence, and contributing to business development efforts.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Completed or partially completed Bachelor's degree.
- English proficiency at a B2-C1 level (advanced proficiency )
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer accounts, sales opportunities, and commercial activities.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, tracking opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong aptitude for working with digital platforms and technology.
- Proven experience in consultative selling, negotiation, objection handling, and relationship building.
- Proficiency with digital tools, including Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, as well as educational and technology platforms.
- Ability to analyze data, market trends, and competitive information, and translate insights into commercial decisions.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at different organizational levels
- Up to date on trends and developments within the education sector.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission car.
- Territory: Nationwide coverage across Peru, with the role based in Lima.
- Availability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
