Director - Talent Acquisition

Description

As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will own and elevate the end-to-end candidate experience at SendCutSend, partnering closely with Human Resources and Organizational Development to bring it to life. You will lead workforce planning and forecasting across all SendCutSend facilities, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles as we scale rapidly. You'll be responsible for the hiring experience for every hiring manager, build data-informed hiring processes, and partner closely with HR on compensation strategy. Reporting to executive leadership, you'll direct the entire Talent Acquisition Team while keeping a constant pulse on the business and safeguarding the culture that makes SendCutSend the best place to work.

This position is headquartered in Reno, NV. Preference may be given to local Reno-area candidates, but we are open to remote candidates as well.

What you’ll do

• Lead workforce planning and forecasting across all facilities, aligning hiring strategy with projected growth and operational needs
• Evolve the TA strategy, translating business priorities into a hiring plan that keeps pace with a fast-moving, ever-changing environment
• Drive recruitment branding and candidate experience initiatives to position SendCutSend as an employer of choice in manufacturing
• Lead and elevate an established TA team, setting a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring, and coaching
• Oversee and drive the direction of full lifecycle recruiting strategy and execution across all open roles
• Develop hiring processes grounded in data analysis and direct observation to ensure consistent sourcing and selection of quality candidates
• Evaluate sourcing channels and recruitment analytics to optimize pipeline efficiency and reduce time-to-fill
• Partner with Human Resources to inform compensation strategy using current job market data and trends
• Partner with Human Resources and Training Departments on ensuring hiring committees are properly trained on sustainable and equitable processes to ensure quality throughout the process
• Ensure hiring practices and recruitment operations strictly comply with federal, state, and local labor regulations
• Report hiring metrics, market insights, and workforce trends to executive leadership on a regular basis
• Maintain close visibility into operations and culture across all facilities to inform hiring decisions and identify emerging needs
• Uphold organizational culture and values throughout the hiring process as the company scales
• Design and implement scalable hiring systems and processes that support growth across multiple facilities without compromising quality or attention to detail 
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years of people leadership experience managing and developing recruiting or talent acquisition teams 
• Proven experience with workforce planning and forecasting, ideally in a multi-site or manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage hiring processes using data and metrics
• Experience partnering with HR on compensation strategy and market benchmarking
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience advising hiring managers and executive leadership
• Ability to travel to company facilities as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling a talent function during a period of rapid company growth
• Background in manufacturing, industrial, or a similarly hands-on operational environment
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting analytics tools
• Experience building or refining recruiting processes across multiple physical locations

Essential Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to walk facility floors as part of site visits, including areas with manufacturing equipment
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers

Work Environment

• Primarily an office environment with some travel to manufacturing facilities
• Occasional exposure to a manufacturing floor environment during facility visits, including noise and machinery in operation
• Fast-paced, high-growth environment requiring flexibility and the ability to manage shifting priorities
