Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and processing secured lending applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation
• Ensure all secured lending applications are adhere to internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements
• Address frontline inquiries related to credit accounts, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service
• Assist in identifing, assessing, and mitigating credit risk
• Ensure credit records in credit management systems are accurate and up-to-date with data integrity is followed through
• Collaborate with frontline sales, operations, and related departments to facilitate smooth credit administration processes
• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies
• Demonstrates initiative to go beyond the normal routine and look for new ways to add value

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in credit administration/operations or related area is preferred. 
• Possess knowledge of retail credit policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in relation to secured lending applications.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

(Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager)
