Junior Relationship Manager, Malaysian Large Corporates

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Junior Relationship Manager, Malaysian Large Corporates to support the management and growth of relationships with Malaysia's leading corporate clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in corporate banking while working closely with senior Relationship Managers to deliver tailored financial solutions and drive business growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting client relationship management, credit analysis, business development initiatives, and cross-selling opportunities across the Bank's comprehensive suite of products and services.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with large corporate clients by understanding their business and financial needs.
• Assist in preparing credit proposals, financial analyses, and supporting documentation in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct market and industry research to identify business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive developments.
• Support the cross-selling of corporate banking solutions, including:
  • Corporate Finance
  • Trade Finance
  • Cash Management
  • Treasury Products and Solutions
• Monitor client portfolios and identify potential risks or early warning indicators to support effective credit risk management.
• Collaborate with product partners, credit teams, legal teams, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports on client activities, business pipelines, portfolio performance, and management updates.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business discussions alongside senior Relationship Managers to build relationship management capabilities and industry knowledge.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management support, credit analysis, or a related financial services role.
• Good understanding of corporate banking products and services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial statements and prepare financial analyses.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong commitment to client service excellence.
• Team player who works well across functions and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of Malaysian banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry practices will be an advantage.
