Your Role as Information Management Architect
This role is accountable for establishing and maturing enterprise-wide information management practices, ensuring data is governed, structured, and leveraged as a strategic asset. You will lead the design and implementation of enterprise data models, governance frameworks, and information architecture, while acting as a senior data steward to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance
You’ll deliver this role by:
Defining and enforcing data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models across WMQ.
Leading governance forums and decision-making structures to prioritise and resolve data issues.
Acting as the organisation’s lead data steward, driving accountability for data quality and lifecycle management.
Defining and maintaining the enterprise information architecture and data models (conceptual, logical, and physical).
Establishing standards for data structures, taxonomies, metadata, and master/reference data.
Partnering with solution architects and delivery teams to ensure alignment between enterprise models and system implementations.
Defining and implementing standards for data lifecycle management (creation, storage, usage, retention, and disposal).
Monitoring data quality and risks, leading the identification and resolution of systemic data issues and improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
Tertiary qualifications in Information Management, Data, Information Technology or related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in data governance, information architecture, or enterprise data management in complex environments with multiple systems and data sources.
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and controls.
Demonstrated experience improving data quality and integrity at scale, together with experience defining enterprise data models and standard
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across business and technical audiences.
High level analytical and problem-solving skills.
A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!
Experience with data governance tools or catalogues.
Understanding of data privacy, records management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Exposure to analytics, reporting, or data visualisation environments.
Essential Requirements
