The Role

Are you passionate about helping others and delivering exceptional service? We're looking for a Payroll Services Officer to join our People & Capability team and play an important role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time.

Based in our Docklands office, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility while remaining connected to a supportive and collaborative team environment.

This is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys building strong relationships, working collaboratively, and contributing to a people-focused and inclusive workplace while delivering high-quality payroll services.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time

• Manage payroll administration, reconciliations, reporting and month-end activities

• Prepare termination payments and support payroll compliance requirements

• Respond to payroll enquiries, providing a high level of customer service and support to employees and leaders

• Partner with internal teams to maintain payroll data integrity and continuously improve payroll processes

About you

• Previous experience processing end-to-end payroll including manual processing

• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Modern Awards and compliance requirements

• Strong Excel skills with experience in reporting and reconciliations.

• Experience with Micro pay payroll systems will be highly regarded

• High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach
