You will combine technical leadership, platform governance, operational excellence and people leadership to help ING deliver a secure, reliable and innovative digital workplace at enterprise scale.

The Team
Global Workplace Services provides ING colleagues with a Digital Workplace that enables seamless collaboration in a hybrid world. The department enables employees worldwide to work effectively using modern digital tools that are secure, up to date and user friendly.

The Workplace department maximises value delivery for employees by leveraging the Microsoft Cloud Platform across collaboration, productivity, communication, automation and employee experience services. The chapter manages Messaging services such as Exchange, Fax and Compliance Archiving; Automation services including Azure DevOps runbooks for self-service requests, reporting, user provisioning and desired-state monitoring; Copilot capabilities including platform configuration and Copilot Studio; and generic M365 platform management. The chapter also builds reusable automation libraries, delivers training, explores future Microsoft integrations and resolves technical and security incidents.

  • Architect enterprise-grade AI capabilities, including Copilot, GenAI agents, orchestration frameworks and agentic workflows.

  • Advise executive stakeholders including CIO, CTO and CISO on workplace technology strategy and investments.

  • Represent ING in strategic engagements with Microsoft engineering and product leadership.

  • Partner with Security, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product and Engineering teams to support responsible AI adoption.

  • Define enterprise controls for secure AI adoption, including DSPM, DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management and AI governance.

  • Own risk management across the M365 platform scope, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, mitigated and tracked.

  • Support audit, compliance, continuity, cyber resilience and third-party risk-management activities.

  • Contribute to vendor-management processes, service reviews and supplier performance management.

  • Coach engineers and provide hands-on support for complex platform-management, automation and operational challenges.

  • Drive engineering excellence, operational simplification and continuous improvement across chapter services.

  • Perform target setting, development planning, coaching and performance review activities.

  • Lead change initiatives that strengthen the Workplace platform and support ING’s strategic digital workplace roadmap.
