Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Acts as an established and productive individual contributor who introduces, maintains, and improves production processes, while managing supportive processes and ensuring continuous improvement. Partners with management and operations to drive decisions regarding process engineering and methods, to produce comprehensive processes, operational efficiencies, and alignment with production goals. Leverages and distributes process knowledge to implement procedures and plans for operations. Demonstrates effective communication skills with both internal and external customers. Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment.

 

Specific tasks and job duties of the position that are required daily:

  • Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo in day-to-day interactions with team.
  • Is required to understand and comply with the Code of Business Conduct, Company policies and laws that govern their activities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Investigates stock levels and proposes solutions for material supply issues.
  • Lead in the operational area for resolving material supply issues through introducing alternative materials.
  • Ensure the fitness of existing disposable materials, addressing any issues that arise to maintain product quality, productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Align material requirements with process owners, Global Planning, Procurement and suppliers.
  • Proactively evaluate and implement improvements to the disposable materials portfolio for BU1 to optimize performance, to support Inventory Optimization (IO), reduce costs, reduce or prevent Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) and increase efficiency to meet overall production goals.
  • Implement second suppliers to strengthen supply chain and reduce cost in line with Procurement programs.
  • Ensure adequate documentation for using the correct materials, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions and Master Batch Records if applicable.
  • Contribute to change control implementation and non-conformance investigations.
  • Lead supplier investigations as part of non-conformance investigations and emergency changes.
  • Apply expertise in material supply issues to support escalations that cannot be resolved within the business unit.
  • Conduct Gemba walks and view the process performed by operators and leads sustainable improvements to enhance safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.
  • Actively prioritizes tasks and aligns these tasks with the rest of the material management team to ensure timely execution of material supply issues
  • Takes ownership of personal training and ensures that all required training is understood and completed on time.
  • Enhance a culture of belonging through trusting, divers, & inclusive relationships.

 

Additional tasks and job duties of the position that are not required daily:

  • Support developing training programs specific to the process.
  • Subject Matter Expect on material related topics during inspection and audits.
  • Representative of the Operations unit, following FPX methodology as core or extended team member.
  • Works with the process owners to align material related changes with the established process.
  • Works with Global Planning and Procurement to align on scope and timelines and priorities of the improvement programs to reduce cost, reduce SLOB, strengthen material supply and increase efficiencies to meet production goals.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • A relevant HBO degree with 5 years relevant experience.
  • English B2 language level is required.
  • The levels of computer proficiency are intermediate level for MS office, specialist level for data analysis, and analyst level for business applications.
  • Positive attitude, proactivity, decisive, and organized with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Maintain a high level of stress-resistance, ensuring calm and steady performance in all situations, and supporting team members in managing stress.
  • High degree of accuracy and quality attitude.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€53 500,00 - €85 445,00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
