Overview

Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, PLC, VFD, control, and utility systems within the process plant the role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, calibration, SAP work-order management, and ensuring reliable operation of process and utility equipment. The position requires strict compliance with EHS, LOTO, PPE, SOP, PepsiCo, and QFS standards, along with active support for safety, audits, teamwork, and continuous improvement. 

• Strong understanding & hands-on experience on following equipments:
  • Industrial wiring & troubleshooting
  • PLC (Allen Bradley/Siemens preferred)
  • PLC & VFD communication protocols, Mod Bus, Ethernet
  • Motors, drives (Power Flex, Danfoss, SEW),
  • Safety Switches & Safety relays (Rockwell)
  • Instruments (TT, PT, FT, LT) calibration & configuration, FL710E
  • Magnetic vibrator & controllers
  • Load cell & weight controllers,
  •  Pneumatic valves, cylinders, positioner, control & solenoid valves
  •  Scada, Wonderware, Factory talk, Panel view plus
  • Deepsea bumpless system operation,
  • ACB & VCB operation & maintenance
  • Industrial UPS operation & maintenance (Vertiv, APC)
  • Electrical maintenance of Atlas Capco air compressor, Weishaupt burners, LG chiller, Carrier Chiller, Nitrogen generator, Diesel Generators, AHU, Dehumidifier, Waster water treatment plant, fresh water treatment plant  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• SAP maintenance workorder processing
• Knowledge of safety protocols and good maintenance practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain 99.5%+ availability of plant with minimum downtime and rapid resolution of equipment faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical & instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in equipment in process, utilities & substation
• Ensure proper functioning of motors, drives (VFDs), PLC-controlled systems, and electrical panels.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and follow approved SOPs.
• Strictly adhere to LOTO, PPE, and all PepsiCo & EHS standards during maintenance activities.
• Conduct risk assessments before tasks and ensure implementation of safe work practices.
• Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and hazards through proper channels.
• Support continuous improvement of workplace safety and participate in EHS audits/inspections.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with Quality & Food Safety (QFS) standards and does not compromise product safety.
• Properly manage tools and materials to avoid contamination risks.
• Support QFS-related audits and ensure equipment meets hygiene and quality requirements

Qualifications

• DAE in Electrical (mandatory).
• 7 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within FMCG, manufacturing, industrial, or process plant environments.
