We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience in testing web applications, digital platforms, and enterprise business applications. In this role, you will take ownership of quality across complex delivery initiatives by shaping test strategy, defining risk-based test approaches, coordinating test execution, improving QA practices, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, usable, compliant, and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and oversee functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end test strategies and scenarios using risk-based prioritization to validate that products meet business requirements, quality standards, compliance expectations, and user needs.
• Conduct cross-browser, responsive, and mobile testing to validate functionality, usability, accessibility, and performance across supported devices, browsers, and platforms.
• Lead defect identification, documentation, triage, prioritization, root-cause analysis, and resolution tracking, ensuring issues are clearly communicated, resolved effectively, and used to drive quality improvements across future releases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, release managers, and business stakeholders to align on quality expectations, clarify acceptance criteria, manage testing risks, and support smooth delivery across the full lifecycle.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all phases of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), including defect logging and closure.
• Lead continuous improvement of QA practices by researching industry trends, introducing practical testing improvements, standardizing reusable approaches, mentoring team members, and promoting consistent quality engineering practices across projects.
• Prepare and review clear test evidence, execution summaries, defect trends, risk assessments, quality metrics, and release readiness updates that enable stakeholders to make informed delivery and release decisions.
• Maintain comprehensive and auditable documentation of test cases, test execution results, test evidence, defect logs, and testing outcomes in the agreed test management tools.
• Utilize Gen AI capabilities to generate test cases from requirements, review and refine AI-generated test cases for accuracy and coverage, and help integrate Gen AI practices into the overall testing process.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any Technology Stream.
• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, including significant experience leading QA activities for complex web, digital, or enterprise business applications.
• Proven ability to define test strategies, test plans, entry and exit criteria, test coverage models, and risk-based testing approaches for complex initiatives involving multiple systems, stakeholders, and dependencies.
• Advanced experience with test management and delivery tools such as ALM, Jira, and Xray, including test planning, traceability, execution tracking, defect reporting, dashboarding, and stakeholder-ready quality reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues during testing processes.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall delivery models, with the ability to define QA activities, influence delivery planning, manage dependencies, and adapt testing approaches to each methodology.
• Experience mentoring QA engineers, reviewing test scenarios and evidence, promoting testing best practices, and providing technical guidance to improve team capability and consistency.

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare domain.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL for data validation and experience testing APIs using tools or techniques appropriate to the application landscape.
• Experience with Agile SCRUM, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI Technologies such as Gemini and GH Copilot.
