Material Handler

About the Role

We are hiring Temporary Production/Material Handlers to support daily operations in a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position focused on preparing, organizing, and staging materials and containers for production.

The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Level and rake preforms in open bins to ensure materials are properly positioned
• Place lids on bins as required
• Insert bags into bins based on product requirements
• Build and stage Gaylord boxes for production
• Strap and secure Gaylord boxes
• Build and assemble bins as needed
• Move and stage materials to designated areas
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris
• Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
• Perform other general production and material handling duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred but not required
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Safety-conscious approach to all tasks
• Willingness to work a 12-hour shift

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and production materials
• Ability to maintain productivity throughout a 12-hour shift
• Must be comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing environment
• Must follow all required PPE and safety requirements
