Area Manager
Operations & Production Management
- Oversee daily production execution aligned with planning priorities.
- Ensure cost-effective operations and adherence to schedules.
- Maintain discipline on shop floor performance (output, quality, safety).
- Monitor and control operational budgets, ensuring spending efficiency and alignment with financial targets.
Strategic Planning & Capacity Management
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term operational strategies.
- Own 5-year capacity planning.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Programs (CIPs) to meet business growth.
Problem Solving & Customer Engagement
- Act quickly with urgency mindset to resolve issues.
- Lead recovery actions for Safety incidents, Production disruptions, Quality issues.
- Support investigations for: Customer complaints, Quality escapes, Performance issues.
- Support customer audits and communication.
Operational Excellence through Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean / Six Sigma based improvements.
- Translate innovations into high-volume manufacturing (HVM) processes.
- Improve: Efficiency, Cost, Product quality.
People Leadership & Shop Floor Control
- Collaborate with: EHS, Quality & PQE, Logistics & Supply Chain, Maintenance, MT teams, Sales & Commercial teams.
- Manage and develop direct reports through: Goal setting, Coaching, Performance feedback, Training.
- Build a high-performance culture.
- Directly monitor First-line Managers.
