YOUR CHALLENGES  

As Team Manager Accounting  you will manage a local team (± 4 FTE) and drive the further professionalization of processes, reporting, and compliance. At the same time, you actively contribute to day-to-day accounting activities and act as the key link between the French entities and the Group Finance team.

What does this mean concretely?

Team & Organization

• Lead, coach, and develop the local finance team (AP, AR, GL)

• Structure and optimize roles, processes, and responsibilities

• Build a high-performing and reliable finance organization

Accounting & Operations

• Actively contribute to accounting activities (GL, closings, complex entries)

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

• Ensure accuracy and quality of financial data

• Support AP, AR, and invoicing activities

• Review payroll entries, provisions, and reconciliations

Reporting & Group Integration

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting to the Group

• Implement Group guidelines, accounting policies, and internal controls

• Key contact for HQ Finance (consolidation, controlling, audit)

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Compliance & Tax

• Responsible for VAT filings, corporate income tax, and local obligations

• Ensure full compliance with local statutory requirements

• Main point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants

Systems & Processes

• Play an active role in the implementation and optimization of financial systems

• Drive digitalization and standardization of processes

• Identify and implement efficiency improvements

Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with banks, auditors and external partners

• Act as a sparring partner for local management and Group Finance

YOUR TALENTS
 

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field

• You bring at least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within an international, multi-entity, or group environment

• You have proven people management skills and enjoy coaching, motivating, and developing a team

• You possess a solid understanding of French accounting principles (French GAAP) and are comfortable operating in a complex financial environment

• You have hands-on experience with statutory audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements in France

• You combine a strategic mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and are willing to actively contribute to accounting activities and payroll controlling when needed

• You are analytical, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities

• You communicate fluently in French and have a professional level of English, allowing you to collaborate effectively in an international setting
