Job Description Summary
Working closely with our Project Engineers and Project Management team, you will coordinate key project activities including project bookings, workpack preparation, permit applications, material ordering, QA documentation, inspection scheduling and project tracking.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys working across multiple projects and stakeholders and wants to play an important role in keeping projects organised, compliant and ready for delivery.
About the Role
As a Project Coordinator within the Yarra Valley Water Reliability Program, you will provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to our Project Engineers and Project Management team across water renewal and asset inspection activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating project bookings and developing project workpacks;
- Preparing and managing permit applications;
- Coordinating material orders based on Project Engineer requirements;
- Uploading QA documentation into client asset management systems, including JAMS/Maximo;
- Scheduling valve and hydrant inspection programs;
- Assisting with customer letter drops and notifications;
- Recording meeting minutes and following up actions; and
- Maintaining and updating project trackers to provide visibility of project status and upcoming requirements.
About You
A self-motivated and highly organised attitude
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work with collaboratively Project Engineers, field teams and internal stakeholders.
Either a formal qualification or relevant project/construction experience
Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint & Outlook.
Valid Victorian Driver’s license
