Job Description:
- Design electro-mechanical test means, including technologies, instrumentation, and materials to fulfill system requirements.
- Lead technical milestone meetings (Kick-Off, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review) throughout the test means development lifecycle.
- Mitigate technical risks and identify opportunities across ongoing projects by executing targeted mitigation plans.
- Validate and verify the complete design and technical documentation, performing commissioning and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) prior to Entry Into Service.
- Establish strong links and a customer-oriented culture with Design Office interfaces while ensuring Health, Safety, and Product Regulatory Compliance.
- Evaluate suppliers within Call For Tender procurement processes and support manufacturing up to the final delivery to internal customers.
- Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience in electro-mechanical design, validation, verification, and project management (PDR, CDR) focused on test benches and test means technologies.
- Soft skills: Strong initiative, credibility, customer-minded communication across all organizational levels, and proven ability to work collaboratively in transnational, multi-functional teams.
- Languages: Negotiation level in both English and Spanish (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
- Technical knowledge: Advanced proficiency in 3D CATIA V5, electro-mechanical design, and project management methodologies.
- Valuable / Nice to have: Experience in tooling, manufacturing processes, interconnection wiring, measurement sensors, or software programming in LabVIEW / VeriStand.
