Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Deterrence in North Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a food and beverage distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as assigned, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted operational areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have 4+ years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
