Why this is an exciting opportunity
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of impactful software programs for two of the leading HUB24 products: Engage (HUB24’s client-facing turning data into actionable insights for advisers and their clients) and myhub (single front door to access everything across HUB24). In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted adviser to the Product and technology teams, owning outcomes rather than just process, and partnering closely to translate strategy into delivered value.
You will take responsibility for every facet of program execution, from stakeholder engagement and team collaboration through to coordinating multiple pods within a scaled agile environment. This role goes well beyond facilitation or coordination. It calls for hands-on leadership, sound judgement, and the confidence to navigate ambiguity while thinking creatively and challenging the status quo.
With a strong passion for uplifting teams from good to great, you will bring fresh ideas, continuous improvement thinking, and a genuine drive to lift delivery maturity, team engagement, and outcomes. You will also act as the main conduit for interactions with the cyber security, cloud engineering and the Innovation Lab teams, ensuring your delivery is secure, resilient and built on modern platforms.
You will provide clear portfolio level insights to senior leadership, including demand versus capacity, delivery risks, and trade-offs, enabling informed and timely decisions. Your work will leverage cutting-edge technology that continues to evolve to improve the financial wellbeing of Australians. With HUB24’s rapid growth, this role offers significant opportunities for impact and development, with your contribution highly visible and central to creating lasting value for the organisation and its clients
What you’ll be doing
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Ownership
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery outcomes across complex programs, from concept through to production.
- Be the single point of accountability for scope, sequencing, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
- Drive timely decision-making in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, making pragmatic trade-offs to keep delivery on track.
- Establish and maintain predictable delivery through effective planning, forecasting, and capacity management.
Program & Portfolio Leadership
- Lead delivery across multiple interdependent squads and initiatives, ensuring integrated and cohesive outcomes.
- Actively manage, resolve, and escalate program risks, issues, and dependencies early to avoid surprises.
- Partner with Product Managers, technical and business stakeholders to influence portfolio prioritisation and sequencing decisions across delivery.
- Maintain a delivery roadmap aligned to product strategy, including a clear 12‑month outlook.
Agile Delivery Excellence
- Lead and continuously improve agile ceremonies including PI Planning, sprint planning, showcases, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Ensure realistic commitments, clear ownership, and outcomes-focused delivery.
- Apply agile practices pragmatically to improve flow, quality, and value delivery—not process for process’ sake.
Stakeholder Leadership & Communication
- Translate business strategy into clear delivery outcomes.
- Communicate confidently with senior executives, providing transparent, direct, and outcomes-focused updates.
- Build strong, trusted relationships across Technology, Product, and the broader business.
Continuous Improvement (Good to Great)
- Devote approximately 20% of time to HUB24’s Good to Great initiative, improving ways of working, tools, and delivery practices.
- Identify and drive improvements that uplift delivery speed, quality, reliability, and team experience.
- Partner closely with Development Managers, QA Managers, Architects, and Operations teams.

- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality delivery practices.
- Proven ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies through active leadership.
