Description
Are you an Electrician (with Industrial experience) or a Dual Ticketed Millwright/Electrician or a Millwright with strong electrical skills looking for a new opportunity in the Kitchener area?
Harbinger Network has partnered with an industry leading manufacturing organization, looking to find their next maintenance team member.
In this role you will be:
- working on equipment such as CNC, Manual Machining equipment, Robotic systems (Fanuc)
- adhering to a strong preventative maitenance program
- performing mechanical troubleshooting on a variety of equipment
- maintaining the building, including lighting, basic plumbing
- maintaining an inventory of supplies
- operating a forklift
- using PLC's for troubleshooting and making program adjustments
What's in it for you?
- straight afternoons or a day/afternoon rotating shift
- $40 - $45 hourly (dual tickets will have additional premiums)
- overtime after 40 hours worked in a week
- 3 weeks vacation to start
- pension plan matching up to 4%
- annual boot allowance
- 2 paid sick days + 2 paid floater days
- always off on Christmas and Boxing day
- education/tuition reimbursement program
- company paid benefits from day 1
- work with a small team and really get to know your colleagues
What do you bring to the table?
- the ideal candidate will be a dual ticketed Millwright/Electrician, but Electricians with strong mechanical skills or licensed Millwrights with strong electrical skill sets are encouraged to apply
- PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities is ideal but not a must have
- experience working on CNC machines
- able to pass a background check
- able to work an on call weekend rotation (not all weekends are open, so this is minimal)
- strong communication skills, effective troubleshooting abilities
