South Jersey Dental Implants & Periodontics, the office of Dr. Shah, Dr. Hakim, and Dr. Vayner, is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our well-established periodontal specialty practice.
We are proud to provide specialized periodontal and implant care in a professional, supportive clinical environment. Our Linwood office is located in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility at Linwood Commons, and we are looking for a team member who takes pride in providing excellent patient care while working collaboratively with our doctors and clinical team.

Schedule:
Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This is an excellent opportunity for a dental assistant who is interested in expanding their clinical skills and gaining experience in a periodontal specialty and dental implant practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist doctors during periodontal, implant, and surgical procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures.
- Provide excellent patient care and support throughout appointments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical environment.
- Take and document dental X-rays when licensed.
- Assist with sterilization and instrument processing.
- Prepare materials and equipment for various procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, and front office staff.
- Follow all infection control and OSHA standards.
- Help ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting experience preferred.
- NJ Dental X-ray license preferred.
- Periodontal or surgical assisting experience is a plus.
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a specialty practice.
