Digital Content Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Content Manager to join HCF’s Brand & Content team and lead the development and optimisation of digital content experiences across HCF.

Digital Content Manager - 15 month MAT leave contract

This is a hands-on role combining digital content strategy, UX writing, content design, SEO and performance optimisation. You’ll work closely with Digital, Product, Marketing, Brand, Design and subject matter experts to create clear, engaging and member-centric digital experiences.

What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end digital content initiatives, from brief and content strategy through to copywriting, publishing, QA and optimisation.
• Develop UX, microcopy and long-form content that is clear, accessible and aligned to HCF’s brand, voice and tone.
• Use customer insights, SEO, AI search trends, analytics and performance data to shape and continuously improve digital content.
• Develop content strategies and user journeys that support engagement, consideration and conversion.
• Champion digital content, UX writing, SEO, accessibility and plain English best practice.
• Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to influence content and digital experience decisions.
• Monitor and report on content and digital performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
• Contribute to HCF’s digital writing guidelines, content standards and ways of working.

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years’ experience across digital content, UX writing, content design or digital content strategy.
• Strong digital writing and content strategy skills — this is not a traditional content marketing role.
• Experience managing digital content from strategy through to delivery and optimisation.
• Strong understanding of SEO, analytics, digital performance and content optimisation.
• Experience working with CMS and digital platforms such as AEM, Adobe Analytics and SEMRush.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and provide expert advice.
• Experience working in a regulated environment is desirable, particularly healthcare, insurance or financial services.
• A curious, collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
