Lawyer / Associate: Medical Negligence (2-4+ PQE)

About the role:
You will be responsible for:
- Representing defendants in medical negligence claims.
- Preparing liability and quantum advice.
- Reviewing medical records and expert evidence.
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits and correspondence.
- Attending and appearing conferences, mediations and court proceedings.
- Liaising with clients and working directly with insurers.
- Briefing and liaising with counsel.
More senior candidates will have the opportunity to run files autonomously and take ownership of their work.
The ideal candidate:
- 2–4+ years’ PQE.
- Experience in medical negligence, health law, personal injury or defendant insurance litigation.
- Strong drafting and file management skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A collaborative and commercially minded approach.
