About the role:

You will be responsible for:

• Representing defendants in medical negligence claims.
• Preparing liability and quantum advice.
• Reviewing medical records and expert evidence.
• Drafting pleadings, affidavits and correspondence.
• Attending and appearing conferences, mediations and court proceedings.
• Liaising with clients and working directly with insurers.
• Briefing and liaising with counsel.

 

More senior candidates will have the opportunity to run files autonomously and take ownership of their work.

The ideal candidate:

• 2–4+ years’ PQE.
• Experience in medical negligence, health law, personal injury or defendant insurance litigation.
• Strong drafting and file management skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• A collaborative and commercially minded approach.
