Responsibilities
The Operations Process & Technology Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the operational efficiency and process improvement through technology driven solutions. This role bridges business operations and technology, contributing to project execution, system testing, IT ticket monitoring, process improvements, business requirements development and other projects and duties. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive, individual who is passionate about improving process through collaboration and innovation. The Operations Process & Technology Analyst works with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and internal stakeholders to document and determine client and organizational needs, system and operational requirements and improvements, downstream system impacts, and legal compliance obligations.
Process Improvement, Innovation & Technology
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and operational challenges to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, digitization, and continuous improvement.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and automation solutions that improve business performance, user experience, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
- Support implementation and adoption of technology enhancements, process improvements, and innovation initiatives across the organization.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify root causes of recurring issues and develop sustainable corrective actions.
- Analyze operational trends and performance metrics to provide recommendations that improve service delivery, accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience.
Data Analysis, Reporting & Compliance Support
- Analyze, validate, prepare, and submit quality data in support of business initiatives, operational reporting, regulatory requirements, compliance requests, audits, and organizational data calls.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity through validation, reconciliation, and quality review processes.
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of operational, compliance, and management reporting solutions.
- Evaluate data trends and business results to identify risks, opportunities, process gaps, and performance improvement recommendations.
- Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure data outputs align with business and regulatory expectations.
- Support the collection, organization, analysis, and presentation of information for projects, strategic initiatives, compliance reviews, and executive decision-making.
Project & Initiative Support
- Support projects and initiatives from discovery through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Partner with business leaders and project stakeholders to document requirements, assess impacts, and support solution design.
- Monitor project progress and provide analytical support, status reporting, risk identification, and issue resolution recommendations.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Coordinate, execute, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, system validation, and business process testing for business applications, operational systems, automation solutions, and the Verus Digital Portal.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
- Validate that system enhancements, process improvements, integrations, and vendor platform changes meet business requirements and expected outcomes.
- Document testing results, defects, observations, and enhancement opportunities and communicate findings to technology teams and vendors.
- Assist with deployment readiness, post-implementation validation, and solution adoption activities.
Verus Digital Portal & Vendor Partnership
- Serve as an operational subject matter expert and business liaison for the Verus Digital Portal and related business applications.
- Partner closely with vendor representatives to communicate business needs, evaluate platform capabilities, review enhancement opportunities, and drive resolution of system issues.
- Support escalation management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for Verus Digital Portal defects, performance concerns, and user-reported issues.
- Monitor portal performance, user experience, adoption trends, and operational impacts to identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze and report on portal-related trends, issues, workflows, and performance metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate and participate in vendor meetings, solution reviews, testing efforts, enhancement discussions, and business readiness activities.
- Provide recommendations related to system optimization, configuration improvements, and future platform capabilities.
Stakeholder & Operational Support
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, IT partners, Data Services, vendors, and operational teams.
- Gather, document, and translate business needs into actionable requirements, process improvements, and technology solutions.
- Maintain documentation, business requirements, process maps, testing artifacts, and operational procedures.
- Monitor and triage technology support requests, ensuring appropriate prioritization, escalation, communication, and resolution.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure successful project execution and operational continuity.
