Job Description
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across enterprise, government, and mid-market sectors in Australia
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with regional revenue targets, customer priorities, and MillenniumIT ESP's service portfolio
- Drive business development activities across Cloud, Cyber Security Services, and Microsoft Professional Services
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and conversion against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Conduct client discovery sessions to understand business needs and position tailored solutions in collaboration with pre-sales, technical, delivery, and partner teams
- Develop strong relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, procurement stakeholders, enterprise customers, partners, and prospective clients
- Deliver customer presentations, solution proposals, value-based messaging, and commercial discussions to support opportunity conversion and deal closure
- Coordinate with technical teams to support proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and solution validation activities
- Develop and manage relationships with technology partners, distributors, system integrators, hyperscalers, and vendors, including Microsoft, AWS, Fortinet, and Zscaler, to support partner-led growth and market expansion
- Build alliances with channel partners and managed service providers to expand market reach within Australia
- Represent MillenniumIT ESP at industry events, networking forums, partner engagements, and customer-facing market development activities
- Monitor Australian market trends, competitor positioning, customer buying behavior, and growth opportunities to support go-to-market (GTM) and sales activities
- Support pricing discussions, proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure in line with organizational and regional requirements
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, performance reports, and customer engagement updates to support sales governance and management reporting
- Ensure business development activities are aligned with relevant commercial, contractual, and regulatory expectations within the Australian market
Person Specification
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the IT services or technology sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within the Australian market or similar international markets
- Experience selling Cyber Security, Cloud, and Microsoft Professional Services, or digital transformation solutions
- Exposure to services aligned with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, cyber security solutions, SIEM/SOC services, and digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with the Australian enterprise and partner ecosystem, with existing relationships across enterprise customers, partners, or technology networks considered an advantage
- Experience working with global or offshore delivery models will be considered an advantage
- Experience working with Australian IT Products/Services distributor networks will be considered an advantage
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, closing, stakeholder management, and partner relationship management skills
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to support proposal development, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and deal closure
- Strong communication, presentation, networking, analytical, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, adaptable, and customer-focused, with the ability to work independently in a remote or global team environment
