Overview
TITAN Cement Group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales activities across the UK business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth in sales volume, customer portfolio, and profitability, while building strong customer relationships and delivering high-quality products and services. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will identify and develop market opportunities for Alternative Cementitious Materials (ACMs) and other low-carbon construction solutions in line with Company and Group strategy.
The role has commercial responsibility across both the Hull Terminal and the Warrington Ash Processing Plant (APP). The position is based in UK (Hull –Liverpool) and reports directly to the Terminal Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with the Company's commercial strategy, identifying market opportunities, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends to drive business growth and customer engagement.
- Monitor sales performance and market conditions, preparing sales forecasts, budgets, reports, and recommendations while implementing actions to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Contribute to the development of pricing policies, commercial agreements, and product strategies, ensuring compliance with Company processes and applicable legislation.
- Identify and develop market opportunities for Alternative Cementitious Materials (ACMs) and other low-carbon construction solutions, providing technical sales support and mix design consultation to optimize customer applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and business partners by delivering solutions that enhance performance, cost efficiency, sustainability, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Assess customer credibility, support the implementation of the Company's credit policy, and monitor receivables to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality Control to ensure accurate planning, product availability, timely delivery, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Represent the Company in interactions with industry associations, local authorities, and transportation companies to strengthen external partnerships and support business objectives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cement products, Alternative Cementitious Materials (ACMs), sustainable construction materials, and their applications.
- Good understanding of the relevant standards, regulations, and technical requirements relating to cement and ACM products.
- Strong technical sales, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build customer relationships and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
