ROLE/JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Analytics, Modeling & Insights (AMI) organization is seeking a motivated, analytical, and innovative professional to join the Product Analytics team in support of Enterprise Analytics Transformation and data-driven product strategy.

This role operates at the intersection of data product development, advanced analytics, and business strategy, helping drive the modernization of the Bank's data ecosystem while generating actionable insights that improve product performance and customer outcomes.

The analyst will partner closely with Product Strategy, Data Product Management, and Enablement & Governance teams to develop trusted, reusable data products and leverage those assets to assess product effectiveness, identify opportunities for optimization, and influence strategic decision-making. The role will help accelerate innovation and AI adoption by delivering semantically consistent data, while also applying analytical techniques to understand customer behavior, optimize product strategies, and support responsible growth across the enterprise. This modernization effort includes collaboration across data product development and consumption, data product governance, and product management functions to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, the analyst will be responsible for both data product development and product analytics, including but not limited to:

Data Product Development & Analytics Transformation

  • Design, engineer, develop, and certify enterprise data products for broad consumption across analytics, reporting, AI, and business intelligence use cases.

  • Partner with Enablement & Governance teams to ensure appropriate documentation, controls, processes, and standards are incorporated throughout the data product lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to establish business definitions, rules, metrics, and semantic layers that provide context and make data products AI- and BI-ready.

  • Support the evolution of analytics by evaluating and applying emerging technologies, AI capabilities, analytical methodologies, and best practices.

  • Contribute to the development of standards, playbooks, and reusable frameworks that advance enterprise analytical capabilities.

Product Analytics & Strategy Optimization

  • Partner with Product Strategy leaders to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of existing product strategies and recommend opportunities for optimization.

  • Analyze portfolio performance, customer behavior, engagement trends, and product outcomes to identify opportunities for growth, risk mitigation, and improved customer experience.

  • Perform deep-dive analyses to understand customer journeys, behavioral patterns, and drivers of product adoption, usage, retention, and attrition.

  • Identify under-engaged, over-engaged, or emerging customer segments and develop recommendations to improve targeting, strategy execution, and customer outcomes.

  • Evaluate marketing, communication, servicing, and customer experience strategies to identify opportunities for enhanced effectiveness and engagement.

  • Develop analytical frameworks, performance measurement methodologies, and monitoring capabilities to assess strategy outcomes and inform decision-making.

  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and compelling business recommendations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Deliver proactive insights that influence product strategy, customer experience improvements, and enterprise growth objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated experience as an innovative thinker, self-starter, and creative problem solver who challenges the status quo.

  • Strong analytical aptitude with experience performing data analysis, trend analysis, business performance evaluation, and statistical techniques.

  • Experience translating analytical findings into actionable business recommendations that influence strategy and decision-making.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with business partners, product teams, and technical stakeholders to solve complex business problems.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, data manipulation techniques, and analytical tooling.

  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn new technologies, and experiment with emerging analytical techniques and methodologies.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in product analytics, customer analytics, marketing analytics, portfolio analytics, or strategy analytics.

  • Experience evaluating product performance, customer engagement, customer journeys, and business strategy outcomes.

  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, segmentation, behavioral analytics, and predictive analytics techniques.

  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications within business and analytical workflows.

  • Experience with SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with Spark, Scala, Java, Python, or similar analytical and data engineering technologies.
