As a Forward Deployed Data Engineering - Director, you will lead the charge in developing innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Tax practice, you will combine technical skills with creative thinking to design, code, and test applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success.

Responsibilities

- Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation
- Overseeing the design, coding, and testing of applications to enhance business performance and user experience
- Managing client engagements and fostering relationships to understand and address their evolving needs
- Guiding teams in the application of software engineering principles and methodologies
- Promoting the integration of advanced technologies and practices within software development processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical challenges
- Driving thought leadership by developing new ideas and solutions that align with strategic objectives
- Mentoring and cultivating the potential of team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Balancing strategic and tactical thinking to make informed decisions that support business growth
- Validating data integrity and compliance within software engineering frameworks

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience

- Excelling in API Management and Application Development
- Demonstrating proficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Leading enterprise application architecture and integration initiatives

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
