As a Security Officer - Site Screener in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Perform screening duties at designated entry points, which may include reviewing credentials, directing foot traffic, and/or monitoring the arrival of people and property in support of security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to entry areas, receiving zones, and other sensitive locations where screening activity may occur.
- Complete required logs, reports, and/or documentation related to screening activity, visitor interactions, incidents, and observed policy concerns in accordance with site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
