Position Summary
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role to manage and support the organization's server infrastructure, cloud services, and core IT systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration, knowledge of cloud technologies, and a solid understanding of networking, databases, and telephony.
The role will also coordinate with external service providers responsible for networking and identity-related services while working closely with the Workplace team to ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments.
Monitor, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot server infrastructure.
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
Support and administer Microsoft 365 services.
Manage and support public and private cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).
Monitor cloud performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
Coordinate activities related to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Identity & Access Management services.
Act as the main technical contact for external network and infrastructure partners.
Support network-related projects and coordinate the resolution of connectivity issues.
Perform basic database administration tasks, including backups, monitoring, and maintenance.
Support telephony and unified communication platforms (Microsoft Teams Phone, VoIP, CTI etc.).
Work closely with the Workplace team to align infrastructure, cloud, communication, and end-user computing services.
Maintain technical documentation and follow security best practices.
Participate in infrastructure improvement and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration.
Good experience with Linux administration.
Experience with Microsoft 365.
Knowledge of public and private cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.).
Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Identity Management concepts.
Basic knowledge of networking principles (LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN).
Basic database administration knowledge (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Basic telephony/VoIP administration knowledge.
Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and cybersecurity best practices.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and vendor coordination skills.
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a similar Systems Administrator role.
