Job Title: DWS India Finance – Associate
Corporate Title: Associate
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
Support the DWS India CFO, performing validation and checks (V&C) on DWS India head office reporting, month end closing, Audit, regulatory submissions and transfer pricing process.
Support in the entity Accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) process and related journal bookings
Support indirect, corporate taxes and transfer pricing compliances
Assisting on treasury related matters as necessary
This role will also cover entity planning, Internal Control and Oversight, and Relationship Management
Communication will be a key element, including dealing with various DWS and DB teams

Your key responsibilities
Entity Close Reporting
Review and analysis of month end financial accounting for DWS India, including the analysis of month end Profit and Loss
Support accounts receivable and accounts payable process to ensure regular settlements and avoid long outstanding receivables and payables
Support export procedures like Softex, EDPMS, STPI and related FEMA compliances
Secondary account owner of balance sheet items of DWS India, which includes review of account reconciliations performed by primary account owners
Support year end external audit and any regulatory queries and submissions
Review, analysis and advisory where Finance input is required. Consequently, excellent analytical skills will be required.
The Finance Analyst will be working directly with various DWS and DWS India stakeholders. Communication and interpersonal skills are therefore highly desirable to succeed in the position.
Transfer Pricing
Work with TP Governance to ensure alignment with TP topics and inventories are kept
Review of DWS India cost recharges, invoicing and settlement to relevant DWS and DB entities
Design and implement process change solutions for DWS India
Subject matter expert for India accounting policies/standards
Your skills and experience
Candidates will ideally have previous experience in one or more of the following areas:
1-3 year locally qualified Accountant or 3–7-year experienced Commerce graduate
Regulatory reporting and financial accounting
Management reporting
Skills and Knowledge
A combination of the following areas of experience would be highly regarded
With knowledge on local India GAAP
Hans on experience in GST compliance
Proficient in MS Excel
SAP knowledge (Good to have)
