Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

At the heart of electric mobility, Valeo Power brings together expertise in thermal management systems and propulsion systems. This division develops innovations that contribute to the mobility of tomorrow by reducing pollutant emissions and maximizing vehicle autonomy.

 

The site of Fischbach based in Germany belongs to Power Division. We are looking for a VIE Purchasing Controller for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?

  • You support the Purchasing team in daily activities and performance monitoring.

  • You analyze purchasing data and KPIs to support decision-making.

  • You contribute to purchasing controlling activities and reporting.

  • You support RFQ processes and supplier data analysis.

  • You participate in special projects and ensure follow-up of actions.

  • You coordinate communication between Purchasing teams and international sites.

  • You identify improvement opportunities to optimize purchasing processes.

  • You collaborate with multicultural teams and internal stakeholders.

 Let’s talk about you…

  • You have a Master’s degree in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • You have ideally gained a first experience in Purchasing through an internship, apprenticeship, or previous role.

  • You have a fluent level of English and feel comfortable working in an international environment.

  • You demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.

  • You have an international mindset and are open to discovering new cultures, ways of working, and perspectives. You are curious, eager to learn, and able to adapt to a multicultural environment.

  • You show humility, active listening skills, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of professionalism. You have good interpersonal skills and a sense of diplomacy when interacting with others.
