Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of assigned buildings, ensuring facilities are safe, well-maintained, and operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the overall delivery of integrated facilities management services across assigned sites, ensuring contractual KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.
- Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of Building Managers, Technical Executives, Quantity Surveyors, and Project Managers to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
- Identify operational issues, troubleshoot technical and service-related challenges, and provide timely professional advice and solutions.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, and key stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of servicing records, equipment inventories, asset registers, and maintenance histories for audit and compliance purposes.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building operations, or integrated facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience managing multiple sites, vendors, maintenance operations, and facilities-related projects.
- Strong knowledge of building Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, statutory compliance, and facilities management best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in budget planning, cost control, contract administration, and vendor performance management.
- Strong leadership, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
