Under the supervision of the Section Chief of Site Development, will assist the Site Development Section in the preparation of landscape architectural drawings, presentation drawings, and contract construction documents for the improvement or rehabilitation of various city park and recreation site developments. Candidate must be capable of managing the preparation of preliminary and final design, cost estimates, reports or studies, and contract construction administration responsibilities of site improvement projects throughout the City of Cleveland. Responsible for oversight of preparation and development of capital improvement/rehabilitation master plans, studies, assessments and reports for Parks and Site Improvements of City owned facilities.
Bachelor’s Degree or Master of Landscape Architecture or comparable degree is required. Current registration in good standing as a Landscape Architect in the State of Ohio is required. Ten years of full-time paid experience in a landscape architectural, engineering, or construction office performing the duties related to this position is required. Must have a working knowledge of AutoCad 3-D, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite programs. Should have working knowledge of project planning software such as Smartsheet as well as good written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills to handle multiple projects at the same time is mandatory.
