  • Contribute to planning workshops, product strategy discussions, and solution design activities that support business objectives.

  • Advance organizational standards, methodologies, and best practices to strengthen design and development capabilities.

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to design and deliver web and mobile experiences.

  • Consult with clients and stakeholders to understand business goals, communicate research findings, and align solutions with user needs.

  • Create personas, user journeys, wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, screen flows, and prototypes that guide solution development and improve user experiences.

  • Evaluate usability, customer insights, competitor trends, user feedback, and digital usage data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Analyze business and technical requirements, provide input into solution specifications, and support effective design, development, testing, and review processes.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree in communications, marketing, technology, computer science, psychology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a structured UX Design project work environment.

  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing successful UX, UI, and digital design projects with a strong user-centered focus.

  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles and web technologies.

  • Experience using wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, UXPin, or Adobe XD.

  • Proficiency with design software including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive web design, software design patterns, and n-tier architecture.

  • Experience with website content creation and Liferay platform is an asset.

  • Experience working within formal IT project methodologies, processes, and best practices.

  • Strong creative, technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, combined with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and process-management skills.

  • Self-directed and collaborative approach, with the ability to build effective working relationships across technical and business teams.

  • Proven adaptability in changing environments, commitment to continuous learning, accountability for results, and a proactive focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
