Intermediate Intern Architect

Description of the company:

A well established architecture practice in Toronto with work spanning commercial, residential, institutional and data centre projects. Teams are structured so that you sit close to the project managers and principals rather than getting lost in a large production pool. Down to earth culture. 

Why is this role open:

The studio is building out a team for a competitive public sector design pursuit involving a series of new facilities across Ontario amongst other projects on that team. 

Responsibilities:

• Start on the competition team
• Work across a mix of project types
• Produce and coordinate working drawings
• Contribute to residential, commercial and data centre projects as they come up
• Coordinate with consultants and internal team members

Must-haves:

• Around 5 to 6 years of architectural experience
• Strong Revit skills
• Solid working drawing experience
• Clear communication and a reliable work ethic
• Comfortable moving between project teams

Nice-to-haves:

• Rhino experience
• Previous competition or pursuit work
• Institutional or public sector project exposure

Work style: In office a minimum of 4 days per week, Toronto

Compensation: $80,000 to $85,000 base

Compensation Disclosure

Compensation for all roles Axis recruits for is multi-faceted and based on a range of factors including experience, skills, location, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include performance-based bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits offering, in accordance with applicable Employment Standards Act (ESA) requirements.
