Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of hospital facilities by performing routine environmental services and floor care duties.

Essential Functions
Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
Dusts and polishes furniture, fixtures, equipment, and woodwork.
Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, blinds, door panels, sills, and other interior surfaces.
Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste and recycling receptacles.
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, drinking fountains, and related fixtures; replenishes supplies as needed.
Removes litter and debris from building grounds and surrounding areas.
Operates high- and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines.
Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, events, and hospital activities.
Identifies and reports maintenance or repair needs within assigned areas.
Maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
