Application Developer II – Asset Management & Power Delivery

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer II to support the development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of enterprise Asset Management and Power Delivery applications.

This role will support the Asset Information Management System (AIMS), enterprise Fulcrum applications, database development, API integrations, and other Power Delivery technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C#, Python, SQL, database development, REST/SOAP APIs, enterprise application support, and software troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, enhance, and maintain enterprise web, mobile, and business applications.

• Support ongoing development and maintenance of the Asset Information Management System (AIMS).

• Support the enterprise Fulcrum application used for inspections and field data collection.

• Develop and maintain databases, including:

  • SQL development

  • Data modeling

  • Schema design

  • Data mapping

  • Integration planning

• Develop and support secure, reliable REST and SOAP API integrations.

• Integrate AIMS, Fulcrum, GIS platforms, and other internal/external systems.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues.

• Manage defects and provide ongoing production support.

• Participate in architecture planning, technical design discussions, code reviews, and SDLC activities.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, databases, APIs, configurations, and support processes.

• Follow applicable security, performance, scalability, and development standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional programming or software development experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

• Experience with C#, Python, or a comparable object-oriented programming language.

• Strong SQL and database development experience.

• Experience with data modeling and schema design.

• Hands-on experience with REST and/or SOAP API integrations.

• Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience supporting enterprise business applications in production.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and programmatic problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack web application development experience.

• Experience with OutSystems or a comparable low-code development platform.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Experience supporting utility, asset management, or Power Delivery applications.

• Experience with Fulcrum or similar mobile inspection/data collection tools.

• GIS experience, including Esri or ArcGIS.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and authentication technologies such as SAML and OAuth.

• Experience with Git, version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
