What you will do
You will lead the planning and execution of installation activity across your territory, coordinating people, materials, and schedules so projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This is a hands-on operations role that combines field coordination, customer communication, workforce planning, and technical oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign and coordinate people and materials needed for the timely and complete installation of Security & Life Safety Systems jobs.
- Plan, schedule, supervise, and control installation activity within the assigned territory.
- Confirm equipment procurement for installations and support readiness for field work.
- Prepare progress reports, expense reports, and other related documents.
- Evaluate system performance and efficiency to help maintain systems and minimize equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain technical knowledge of current standards and new developments in the security and life safety field.
- Keep associates and customers informed of industry changes that may affect installation work.
- Develop workforce size and capability to efficiently accommodate subscriber-related workloads.
- Support associate development so the team is prepared for successful job performance and installation requirements.
How You Will Do It
- Own the outcome by keeping installation work safe, accurate, and on schedule, and by following through on commitments.
- Stay close to the work so you can spot issues early, remove obstacles quickly, and keep customers informed.
- Use clear, candid communication and practical problem-solving to improve system performance and reduce repeat equipment issues.
- Work as one team with associates, customers, and internal partners to balance workload and deliver consistent results.
- Improve every day by staying current on standards and new developments, then turning that knowledge into better execution.
What we look for
- Associate degree or equivalent 2-year electronic trade school training.
- Minimum 3-5 years of electrical and electronic equipment installation experience.
- Proven mechanical proficiency.
- Ability to coordinate installation work, documentation, and workforce needs within a territory-based operation.
- Where legally permissible, if hired, you must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than your start date, unless you have a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding vaccination.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
