In Danone Haps produceren we hoogwaardige voedingspoeders voor Early Life Nutrition. Daarmee helpen we baby’s over de hele wereld de best mogelijke start in het leven te geven. De afdeling Quality & Techonology speelt een belangrijke rol bij het continu verbeteren van onze productieprocessen. We werken aan projecten die direct invloed hebben op productkwaliteit, productiecapaciteit, efficiëntie en duurzaamheid. 

 

Door technische expertise te combineren met data-analyse en innovatie zorgen we ervoor dat onze processen betrouwbaar, efficiënt en toekomstbestendig blijven. Hoewel we al veel kennis en waardevolle inzichten hebben opgebouwd over onze poederproductieprocessen, valt er nog veel te ontdekken. Elke dataset vertelt een verhaal, elk proces biedt kansen voor verbetering en elke studie helpt ons om de fascinerende wereld van poedertechnologie beter te begrijpen.

Over Jou

Het doel van deze opdracht het onderzoeken het huidige olie-injectieproces, met specifieke aandacht voor opstartsituaties en wisselingen tussen feed lines. Door historische proces- en kwaliteitsgegevens te analyseren, het procesgedrag te bestuderen en waar nodig aanvullende gegevens te verzamelen, ontwikkelt de student een beter begrip van het systeem en worden kansen geïdentificeerd om de procesrobuustheid te verbeteren en het aantal OOS-producten te verminderen. 

De uitkomsten van het project dragen bij aan meer proceskennis, een betere productkwaliteit en betrouwbaardere productieprestaties.

 

We zoeken een gemotiveerde en enthousiaste student die binnen een productieomgeving deel wil uitmaken van een sterk team. De student kan zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken. 

• Je volgt een opleiding Levensmiddelentechnologie of een vergelijkbare opleiding. 
• Je bent een teamspeler. 
• Je communiceert vloeiend in het Nederlands en Engels.

Binnen onze afdeling Procestechnologie in Haps bieden we studenten voortdurend de mogelijkheid om ervaring op te doen in de voedingsmiddelenindustrie. We nemen stagiairs serieus. Je kunt rekenen op één-op-éénbegeleiding door een van onze ervaren collega’s. Samen werken we aan jouw persoonlijke leerdoelen en we horen graag jouw goede ideeën. Je krijgt de ruimte en ondersteuning om fouten te maken en te groeien. Bij Danone krijg je de kans om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen voor je eigen project. De opdracht bestaat uit een combinatie van praktisch en theoretisch werk. Het gaat er niet om dat je precies doet wat je wordt opgedragen; we zijn juist geïnteresseerd in de keuzes die jij maakt. Zo geef jij jouw werk extra betekenis. Binnen Powder Production werken we samen met collega’s van onder andere Productie, Planning, Engineering, Maintenance en Quality. Binnen het team werk je ook nauw samen met vier procestechnologen. De werkomgeving is hecht en teamgericht, en je ontmoet en werkt met veel verschillende mensen. Daarnaast is het mogelijk kennis te maken met collega’s van de laboratoria, de afdeling Blend & Pack en onze onderzoekslocatie in Utrecht. 

• Een stage van 5-6 maanden in een professionele productieomgeving 
• Een stagevergoeding van EUR 650 per maand op basis van een 40-urige werkweek 
• Een reiskostenvergoeding gedurende de stage

At the Danone Factory in Haps, we produce high-quality nutritional powders for Early Life Nutrition, helping to give babies around the world the best possible start in life. The Process Technology department plays a key role in continuously improving our manufacturing processes. We work on projects that directly impact product quality, production capacity, efficiency, and sustainability. By combining technical expertise with data analysis and innovation, we ensure our processes remain reliable, efficient, and future proof. Although we have already gained a wealth of knowledge and valuable insights into our powder production processes, there is still much more to discover. Every dataset tells a story, every process presents opportunities for improvement, and every study helps us better understand the fascinating world of powder technology.

Over Jou

The objective of this assignment is to gain a deeper understanding of the oil injection process and identify opportunities for process improvement. The products manufactured at Danone Haps consist of both a water phase and an oil phase. These phases are combined in one of the Feed Lines to create an emulsion, which is subsequently processed in the spray dryer to produce powder. During production, only one Feed Line is in operation at a time. For longer production campaigns, the process must be transferred from one Feed Line to the other. During these feed line changeovers, variations in fat content may occur. In some cases, this can result in powder that does not meet the required fat-content specification, leading to out-of-specification (OOS) product and associated production losses.

 

We are looking for a motivated and passionate student who wants to work on a production supply point in a great team. The student will be able to work both independently and in a team. The student is studying Food Technology (or similar), is a team player and can communicate fluently in Dutch and English.

In our process technology department in Haps (NL) we continuously give students the opportunities to gain experience in the food industry. We take interns seriously. You can expect from us to give you 1-on-1 mentorship from one of our experienced colleagues. We will work together on your personal learning goals and are keen to hear all good ideas you have! We will give you the space and support to make mistakes and grow. At Danone, you will have the opportunity to take charge of your own project. It will be a combination of both practical and theoretical work. But it is never about doing exactly as you’re told. We are interested in the decisions you make. You will ‘make it mean more’. At the department Powder Production, we work together with colleagues from different departments, like production, planning, engineering, maintenance and quality. In this team we also work closely together with 4 process technologists. It is a family-like, team-oriented working environment. You will meet and work together with a lot of different people. Next to that, it is also possible to meet and greet with people working at the laboratories, Blend & Pack department and our research facility in Utrecht. We offer a 5–6-month internship in a professional production environment. Finally, we also offer a student salary of 650 euro per month (40h work week) and travel allowance during your internship.
