Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations of Patient Transport Services, ensuring efficient and timely transportation of patients throughout the facility.
- Supervises transportation supervisors and staff, including staffing, scheduling, performance management, and workflow coordination.
- Manages staffing, productivity, and operational performance based on patient volume, established metrics, benchmarks, and best practices.
- Oversees the maintenance, availability, and appropriate use of transportation equipment.
- Monitors operational reports and financial performance and participates in budget planning and management.
- Develops and implements processes to improve operational efficiency, service quality, patient safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborates with departments throughout the facility to coordinate patient transport needs and support an efficient continuum of care.
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
