Plant Maintenance Officer

Plant Maintenance Officer – Valve Manufacturing Plant (Gummidipoondi)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines, forging machines, and assembly equipment.
2. Ensure maximum machine uptime and smooth production operations.
3. Maintain and monitor all plant utilities, including electricity, water supply, sewage, and drainage systems.
4. Coordinate and ensure timely renewal of all Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
5. Liaise with machine manufacturers, service providers, and maintenance vendors for repairs and support.
6. Monitor and maintain plant infrastructure, buildings, and common facilities in good working condition.
7. Ensure proper waste disposal, housekeeping, and environmental compliance across the factory.
8. Maintain maintenance schedules, service records, and equipment documentation.
9. Identify and implement improvements to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and control maintenance costs.
10. Ensure compliance with safety standards and support the overall upkeep and smooth functioning of the plant.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in maintenance of CNC machines, forging equipment, and industrial manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of plant utilities, AMC management, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting.
