Job Title: Research Scientist VII (Non-Competitive)
Grade: 38
Salary: $40,798.50- $49,469.25
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a part-time Research Scientist VII position. The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out multiple NIH/CDC funded research studies. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, study design, management, compliance and implementation; grant administration; supervision of members of the Global Psychiatric Epidemiology Group, and other functions as study PI. This position is 25% of full-time effort.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Study oversight: overseeing study design, management, implementation, research compliance, data analysis, and dissemination of results.
- Grant administration: Proposal submission, post award administration, progress report, other communication with the funding agencies.
- Supervision: directing the Global Psychiatric Epidemiology Group and supervising its member.
- Performing other duties as a study PI.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree and eight years of professional research experience in an appropriate field.
