WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

·         A 27-bed Critical care step down unit  

·         Under the direction and supervision of the RN, perform patient care activities as needed of the patient population(s) served in the unit/department.

·         Contribute to patient care in a safe environment as well as maintaining equipment, supplies, and stock in a safe and efficient manner.

·         Communicate effective data and significant patient information to the attention of the RN.

·         Document data collected during the provision of patient care in a timely manner.

·         Under the direction and supervision of the RN, perform patient care activities as needed of the patient population(s) served in the unit/department.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Enrolled in Nursing program Required

·         Must have successfully completed year one Nursing Fundamentals at their approved school of nursing to qualify for PCN-1. Required

·         Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Required
