Veterinarian (General Practice) – North Ridgeville OH
A well-established veterinary practice is seeking a Veterinarian to provide comprehensive primary care in a collaborative clinical environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of cases, access to advanced diagnostic and medical resources, and opportunities to develop additional clinical skills with support from experienced veterinary professionals. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical care for companion animal patients across a range of routine and complex needs.
- Conduct physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform preventive and wellness care, dentistry, surgery, and urgent medical services as appropriate.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Work closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other members of the clinical team.
- Utilize available diagnostic and medical resources to support patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and maintain current professional knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
- Current veterinary license or eligibility to obtain the required state license.
- Experience or strong interest in companion animal medicine.
- Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a veterinary team.
- Commitment to compassionate patient care and high clinical standards.
- Interest in ongoing learning and professional growth.
