The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical foundation, sound business judgment, and the communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. The Associate Strategic Execution responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis for M&A, A&D, energy transition, and other strategic investment opportunities.
  • Independently identify and structure analytical frameworks that frame risk, reward, and strategic fit.
  • Support transaction execution by coordinating financial, technical, commercial, and legal due diligence efforts across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present investment screening materials and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop and defend investment theses through data-driven analysis and clear, concise communication.
  • Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to inform opportunity evaluation and strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of investment cases, negotiation support materials, and post-closing performance tracking.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or technical energy experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex analyses clearly.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Energy industry landscape and market dynamics.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience using financial databases. (e.g., Capital IQ, FactSet, Bloomberg)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial, capital markets and corporate finance principles.
  • Experience preparing and presenting materials to senior executives.

Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
