The Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of small-to-medium-sized projects. As an individual contributor with strong leadership potential, you will guide technical resources, manage project financials, and ensure that our solutions integrate seamlessly into our customers' operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Lead projects from order handover through planning, site execution, invoicing, and final closeout.
- Technical Execution: Apply your in-depth knowledge of Gas Insulated Solution, Air Insulated Switchgear, and Generator Circuit Breaker equipment to solve complex technical challenges.
- Commercial Management: Own project budgets, margins, sales forecasting, contract management, change orders, and claims.
- Resource Coordination: Effectively deploy field service engineers and manage subcontractors to meet customer commitments.
- Strategy & Problem Solving: Use your technical expertise to propose solutions that go beyond standard parameters, utilizing internal resources to ensure project success.
- HSE & Quality: Maintain an uncompromising focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in technical project management (Field Service, Maintenance, or Commissioning preferred).
- Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of GIS, ASI, and GCB equipment.
- Tools: Practical experience with SAP (or similar ERP systems), Excel, and modern project planning tools.
- Communication: Fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch and/or French (required based on customer portfolio).
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to communicate with customers, maintain project ownership, provide structured follow-up, and handle timely escalations.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the work time within Belgium
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or IPMA certification.
- Experience working with Belgian utility providers and industrial customers.
