Are you ready to shape the future of aerospace with cutting-edge technology? Join our Rotary Wing Platform Systems Team within the Military Avionics & Helos group at Collins Aerospace. Here, you will play a crucial role in developing and testing avionics for International  CH-53K programs. This dynamic position offers the flexibility to push the boundaries of technology, enhancing the capabilities for CAAS/AMS. This role requires a highly motivated person as the Platform Systems Product Owner (PO) for the International  CH-53K. The PO needs to be a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as a member of the broader team.

What You Will Do: 

• You will lead the Platform Systems team for priority and schedule regarding development scope for the International  CH-53K programs. 
• You will perform Platform Systems Engineering (PSE) activities for the International  CH-53K program, including requirements/test procedure development, design updates, execution of test procedures, etc.. Tools used are DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others. 
• You will be responsible for the cost, scope, direction, & overall team operation during different International  CH-53K updates.  
• You will be in charge of completing the Increment plan for the Platform Systems team during the Rotary Wing department wide planning events.
• You will navigate through the bids & pursuits, adhering to Collins Processes
• You will be the dedicated Cost Account Manager (CAM) for all Platform Systems activities within the International  CH-53K programs.
• You will design system solutions, ensuring the integration of Collins Aerospace products into complex upgrade programs for the International  CH-53K program.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

 

• Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance. 
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience

 

Qualifications We Prefer: 

• Collins Aerospace’s Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) experience. 
• Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience.
• Experience (military or civil aircraft) in avionics systems. 
• Working knowledge / understanding of data busses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and ARINC-429) 
• Strong organizational skills including associated documentation. 
• Communicate with a wide variety of technical and management personnel as well customers.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
