Job Description

As a Security Officer - Overnight Netflix in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver welcoming customer service. You will communicate professionally, document observations using technology, and support a positive environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, talent, vendors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, studios, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with credential checks and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
